The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s Media, Public Relations and Communications team was awarded Most Innovative Communications Team (District Municipality) at the 9th SALGA National Communicators Forum Awards held at the CTICC on 25- 27 February 2026.
The team was also nominated for Most Active District Municipality on social media.
This recognition means a lot to our team and just being nominated amongst other amazing municipalities has been an honour! Excellence doesn’t just happen overnight. It is built through consistency, collaboration and a shared passion for serving our communities.
